Although dandruff is not a serious and contagious condition, it can be embarrassing and annoying for some. However, Modern Filipinas with a flaking issue need not worry further. While mild cases of dandruff can be remedied with a shampoo fix, other cases might require special help. Specialized shampoos and hair treatments can help eradicate your current dandruff problem. But, you could also take the DIY route and alleviate dandruff on your own. Below are five cheap and easy dandruff remedies you could readily find at home.

1. Baking Soda

Apart from serving your baking needs, baking soda also serves a remedy for itchy and dandruff-filled scalp. Baking soda serves as an effective exfoliant that reduces oil on the scalp and removes dead skin, which reduces dandruff occurrences.

First, rinse your hair with warm water. Mix baking soda with a few drops of water, and apply on your scalp. Rinse and apply your favorite conditioner afterward.
