Yes, we all know how it goes. If there’s anything worse than not getting any sleep, that would probably be still feeling restless even if you managed to have enough sleep.

Good thing, you can still do something about it. Turn crappy mornings to happy ones with this guide!

Step 1: Say no to sugar, alcohol and caffeine.

Avoid sugar, alcohol, and caffeine before going to bed. These three can interfere with your sleep and leave you feeling groggy and restless in the morning. In case you weren’t able to say no to that tequila shot, make sure to rehydrate. Drinking lots of water will definitely freshen you up in the morning.

Step 2: Arrange your space.

Nothing can make us feel more disoriented than waking up in a cluttered room. A tidy and neat space can help set the tone for the entire day by making you feel at ease and relaxed. After all, who wants to wake up to a messy room, right?

Step 3: Cut the noise.

Waking up to the sound of cars and their beeping horns is definitely not a good way to start the day. Play soothing music before going to bed and replace that annoying alarm sound with a happier and more cheerful tone to start the day in a more positive light.

Step 4: Prioritize sleep.

Make sure to get enough sleep to allow the body to recuperate and recharge as you prepare for another day’s battle. Our bodies need ample time to recuperate, so make sure that you allot at least seven to eight hours of snooze time every day, so you’ll feel refreshed.
