Unless you have an hour to spend styling your hair every single day, a good hair day under the Metro Manila weather is hard to achieve. The humidity and pollution threatens to mess up our precious mane all the time.
But for special occasions, like when you have a date or you just need a beauty boost, it’s great to know there are blow dry bars all over the metro.
Yes, Metro Manila is finally catching up to Manhattan and London when it comes to blow dry bars. It’s taking us by storm, with a flurry of salons opening their doors. We gathered a list of the best ones so far:
Flair Blow Dry Bar
Price Range: P350-P450
Location: 2/F Eight Forbestown Road, Forbestown Center, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City
Flair Blow Dry Bar is tucked along Forbestown Road in BGC, just above Robinson’s Selections. It has a cozy and bright atmosphere, and offers two main services: blow dry and treatment.
The three main blowout styles are Alexa (messy and chic), Blair (glamorous curls), and Olivia (everyday blowout). You can even opt for a custom up-do if you want something specific.
The Style Run
Price Range: P500
Location: G/F Rustan’s Supermarket, Ayala Ave., Makati, Metro Manila
The Style Run started as just a blow dry bar, but they’ve since expanded their offerings for customers who have it all done in one roof. Other than blowouts, they also offer manicure, pedicure, hair color, and haircut.
What’s great about this blow dry bar is that they use environment-friendly and chemical-free products. They also have a senior hair stylist who’s one of the longest mainstays in a five-star hotel salon in Makati.
Blowout Bar
Price Range: P250-P400
Location: G-2, Rada Regency, Rada, Legaspi Village, Makati
Blowout Bar is the first authentic blow dry bar in the Philippines. The space is chic and cozy, decorated in white and turquoise. There’s an actual bar where they perform the service and serve beverages. The hairstyles on their menu include Malibu Rum (beachy waves), Cherry Bomb (curly), Long Island (sleek and straight), and Flirtini (their signature blowout).
Blo Blow Dry Bar
